Why Dell resells higher
Despite containing the same NVIDIA GPU, a Dell server and one from a smaller builder can have very different resale values; our data shows Dell-built servers reselling about 18% above less-known OEMs. The GPU is identical. The buyer pays for the chassis, firmware, support contract and a brand every reseller knows.
Dell is the enterprise standard, with an estimated $43.6 billion of server, storage and networking revenue in 2025. That is a deep buyer and parts network in a recovery.
What we check on a Dell deal
The service contract: whether ProSupport coverage is active and transfers to a buyer or the lender. The configuration: XE9680 builds vary by GPU, CPU and memory, and only the delivered configuration is collateral. The management controller logs, which record the hardware's history.
