SK hynix Appraisal
What SK hynix equipment is worth as collateral, now and when your loan matures.
What it's worth
SK hynix supplied the HBM3 in NVIDIA's H100 from 2022, and its server DIMMs resell at the same price as Micron and Samsung parts of the same spec. In an appraisal, SK hynix memory is valued by spec and by the memory market: the memory index was 491 in the October 2026 Rack Report, against 100 in the first half of 2025.
What we appraise

Brand does not move memory resale
Our resale data shows SK hynix, Micron and Samsung server memory of the same spec clearing within about two points of each other. Memory is a commodity in resale; what matters is capacity, speed, generation and whether the module is qualified for the server.
What does move it is the shortage. Memory traded +492% against normal depreciation in the October 2026 Rack Report, the largest premium of any component. An appraisal dates memory values carefully, because they can fall as fast as they rose.
