American Compute Launches GPU Residual Value Insurance With A- Rated Capacity From Incline P&C Group via Accelerant
American Compute has launched GPU residual value insurance (RVI) for lenders and lessors, with A- (Excellent) rated capacity from Incline P&C Group, accessed through the Accelerant Risk Exchange.

RVI sets an insured minimum resale value, a floor, for the GPU servers a lender or lessor finances, at trigger dates written into the policy. If GPUs insured at a 20% floor sell for 5%, the issuing insurer pays the 15% shortfall. Coverage can extend to the whole rack.
"Every GPU loan can support shorter offtake contracts or residual position in leases," said Bernie Margulies, CEO of American Compute. "Residual value insurance puts a floor under those needs, in writing."
American Compute accesses insurance capacity from Incline to help protect the data-center assets and operations behind the financing opportunities it brings to lenders and lessors.
Austin-based Incline P&C Group has managed $6.2 billion of program business, insurance written through specialist underwriting firms, over the past decade. Its carriers, Incline Casualty Company, Incline National Insurance Company and Incline Americas Insurance Company, are rated A- (Excellent) by A.M. Best, affirmed April 15, 2026. The group has made the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies four years running.
Accelerant is a technology-enabled specialty insurance business built around the Accelerant Risk Exchange. They connect specialist businesses with long-term insurance capacity and provide the data, technology and infrastructure that help them manage risk and grow.
Premium written through the exchange reached $4.19 billion in 2025, up 35%, from 280 Members. QBE, one of the top 20 global insurers and reinsurers, and Tokio Marine America joined the exchange as risk capital partners in April 2025. Matcha Specialty LLC, which operates the American Compute program, is an Accelerant Member.
Lenders and lessors can send the equipment list and the residual they need for an indication. The structures covered are on the residual value insurance page. For background, see the 2026 GPU residual value report and insurance for GPU clusters.
