B200 vs H200
For a 6-38% higher node price, the B200 brings 2.3x the FP8 and holds value better.
The difference
Buy the B200. A new HGX B200 node listed at $360,000 to $470,000 in October 2026 against about $340,000 for a new HGX H200 node, a 6-38% premium. For it you get 2.3 times the dense FP8, FP4, 180 GB instead of 141 GB and 8 TB/s instead of 4.8. The H200 still wins in air-cooled 10 kW sites.

The H200 is at the end of its run
Used H200s cost close to a new B200. New H200 lead times ran past 40 weeks in September 2026. In October, used H200 nodes at $348,500 sat above the new volume price and just under the $360,000 entry price of a new B200 node. Cisco’s HGX H200 server reached its last order date on June 25, 2026.
The B200 keeps more of its value
It also keeps more of its value. Our conservative band puts the B200 at 16-26% of original price in 2029 against 7-15% for the H200, because the H200 generation shipped about a year earlier.
