B300 vs B200
More memory and FP4, no FP64. The B300 holds a higher residual band.
The difference
The B300 is a B200 tuned for inference: 1.5 times the dense FP4, 288 GB of memory against 180 GB, and twice the network bandwidth per board, with the same dense FP8 and BF16. It gives up FP64. A new HGX B300 node listed at $400,000 to $450,000 in volume in October 2026, against $360,000 to $470,000 for a B200.

Why B300 quotes vary
Order size and delivery drive the spread. The Rack Report’s volume range sits $70,000 to $90,000 below its single-unit range of $490,000 to $520,000. Servers that ship within weeks cost the most.
Some quotes are inflated. We have seen the same B300 server quoted at both $460,000 and $550,000; a lender advancing 80% on the higher number lends close to 100% of what it is worth.
A higher residual band
Residuals run on technology age. The B300 shipped in late 2025 and the B200 in early 2025, so the B300’s conservative band reads 52-64% of original price for 2027 against 40-54%. NVIDIA flagships now come under a year apart, so the gap can close quickly.
