GPU Residual Value by Year
What H100, H200, B200 and B300 GPUs should be worth when a loan or lease matures.
What it shows
Residual bands from our GPU residual value report, as a percent of the price new, by calendar year, as of June 2026. The conservative band is the safe case and the moderate band is aggressive but defensible; above it, a residual is only bookable when everything goes right.

How to read it
Read the year the deal matures. A 36-month loan or lease signed in 2026 matures in 2029, so its residual is the 2029 column.
Age runs from launch, not purchase. An H200 bought new in 2026 is already two years into its life, because the generation first shipped in 2024.
Which band to book
- Lessor (FMV lease)Low end of conservative
- The lessor must turn the booked residual into cash at lease end; a weak market alone produces a loss.
- LenderConservative, slightly more aggressive
- The residual is the worst case: it sets the advance rate and the recovery math, and defaults and weak resale markets arrive together.
- Equity investorUp to moderate
- An overbooked residual costs equity a weaker return, not a hole in the balance sheet.
