Data Center Site Assessment
Whether the site can keep GPU collateral running for the term of the loan.
What it covers
Many sites lack what GPU customer contracts require, especially retrofitted crypto mines and modular builds, and a site that misses its uptime can force a liquidation. A site assessment checks that the building can keep the equipment running for the term of the loan.
Power density is the first filter. GPU racks draw 40-80 kW while most data centers run 10-30 kW, and the Uptime Institute found in 2025 that 67% of existing sites cannot support modern GPU densities. Past roughly 40 kW per rack, air cooling stops working.

| Checklist | What it covers |
|---|---|
| GPU data center site evaluation | What an AI data center needs to host GPUs for a loan's term: power per rack, cooling, redundancy, energization dates and recovery access, for lenders. |
| B300 and GB300 power and cooling | B300 and GB300 NVL72 power consumption per server and rack, cooling needs and how many fit a 15, 30, 40 or 80 kW rack. Sourced specs for site evaluation. |
| Modular data center site evaluation | How lenders evaluate a modular or containerized GPU data center: power source, cooling, redundancy, physical security, insurance and recovery access. |
