Residual value insurance solutions
Agree on what the equipment will be worth; if it sells for less, the policy covers the shortfall.
How it works
Residual value insurance sets a floor under what the equipment will be worth at the end of the term. The lender or lessor agrees a residual with us up front; if the equipment sells for less, the policy pays the difference. If the GPUs sell for 5% instead of the agreed 20%, the policy pays 15%.
It covers the whole rack, servers, networking, and storage, not just the GPUs, and it is written for private credit and equipment finance lenders financing neoclouds.
The cover comes with help, not just a policy. Through the term we work alongside your asset management team on the things that protect the residual: choosing the right maintenance standards, planning for a return or a recovery, introducing remarketers, and coordinating the sale when equipment comes back. Responsibility for the assets stays with you, but keeping losses under the policy low is in our interest too, so we put the work in. You do not need to add headcount to finance GPUs.

Residual value questions
- Who do you serve?
- Private credit and equipment finance.
- What's your role?
- It's our program, our policy form, our pricing. Investment-grade re/insurers carry the risk.
- Only GPUs?
- No. The whole rack: servers, networking, etc.
- Real risk transfer?
- Yes, actual insurance policies. Not just an accounting gimmick, or an informal promise.
- How much does it cost? What residuals?
- Depends. Send us the equipment list and the residual ask; we'll come back with an indication.
- Do you help after the policy is bound?
- Yes. We help plan for returns and recoveries, choose maintenance standards, and introduce and coordinate remarketers. Ultimate responsibility stays with you; keeping losses low is in our interest as much as yours.
- Do we need to build an asset management team?
- No. We help your existing team with the GPU-specific parts, so you do not need to add headcount to finance the asset class.
