BMO Transportation Finance is BMO's truck and trailer lending business, based in Irving, Texas, which BMO bought from GE Capital in 2015. It provides loans, fair market value and TRAC leases, inventory and lease financing and asset-based lending to manufacturers, dealers, for-hire and private fleets, and refuse operators in the US and Canada. Stonepeak agreed in May 2026 to buy the business, with BMO keeping a 19.9% stake.
